Malcolm Coley is an alumnus of Seton Hall University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.

 

As the Chief Technology Officer at Futures First Gaming, an educational technology and esports entertainment company with STEM accreditation, he plays a pivotal role. The company's motto, "Futures First Begins with Gaming," underscores its commitment to education and technology. Futures First Gaming has forged a pathway partnership with Wilmington University, enabling high school students to earn college credits or certifications through the Futures First Gaming Pathway Program. Additionally, the company offers a workforce development program focused on 21st-century career skills in game development, coding, entrepreneurship, and event/production management.

Beyond his role at Futures First Gaming, Malcolm is the CEO and Co-Founder of LocNation™. This initiative celebrates the natural hair movement, with a particular focus on locs. Under his leadership, LocNation™ has amassed over 700,000 followers across various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok, becoming the largest online community dedicated to locs. The brand also operates a hair salon in New Castle, Delaware.

In his capacity as the Director of Digital Media at Influencers Lab Media, a full-service marketing firm, Malcolm has co-founded Spending Black Matters. This marketplace and Facebook group, home to over 30,000 Black entrepreneurs, emphasizes generational wealth, financial empowerment, and the circulation of Black buying power.

Malcolm's leadership and potential have been recognized through his inclusion in the Leadership Delaware 2023 Fellowship. This prestigious program, known as the top leadership initiative in Delaware, focuses on the professional development of young local leaders, preparing them to advance their careers and contribute to Delaware's growth.

His achievements have earned him a place in the Delaware Business Times' Top 40 Under 40 for 2023, a list that honors young professionals for their innovative ideas, business acumen, and community involvement.

Currently, Malcolm serves on the Advisory Board for the Morgan State University Center for Data Analytics and Sports Gaming Research. He is also a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and Union Lodge #21, Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Delaware.
